Privacy policy

Last updated 6 October 2026.

Who we are

ClearPMO is operated by ANG Associates GmbH, Apfhalterstrasse 7B, 4132 Muttenz, Switzerland, which is responsible for the processing of your personal data described here. For any question about this policy or your data, contact privacy@ang-associates.ch.

What we collect

To run ClearPMO, we collect and store:

Account information you give us: your name and email address, used to sign you in with a one time code. Project data you and your team enter: scope, milestones, tasks, risks, dependencies, comments, and any document you upload for AI assisted drafting. Basic usage information needed to operate the service, such as when you last signed in. If you upgrade a project, billing information is handled by our payment processor, Stripe, we do not store your card details ourselves.

How we use it

We use your data to provide the service you signed up for: showing you and your team your projects and tasks, sending the emails you have asked for (sign in codes, invites, task reminders, notifications), and, where you choose to use AI assisted drafting or document import, sending the text you provide to our AI provider so it can draft a suggestion for you to review. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your project content to train AI models.

AI features

When you use AI assisted drafting, or upload a document for AI document import, the description or extracted document text you provide is sent to our AI provider (currently Anthropic) to generate a draft. Review the draft before it is saved, nothing is applied to your project automatically. Do not upload documents containing information you are not authorized to share.

Cookies

Essential cookies: when you sign in we set one cookie, clearpmo_session, which keeps you signed in for up to 72 hours of inactivity. Your cookie choice itself is remembered in a second cookie, clearpmo_consent, for six months. These are needed for the service to work and are set without asking. Some display preferences, such as the collapsed sidebar, are stored in your browser and never sent to us.

Optional cookies and Google: our public website loads Google Tag Manager, a service of Google, which we use to run measurement tags such as Google Analytics. It runs with Google Consent Mode. Until you choose Accept in the cookie banner, or if you choose Decline, Google is told not to store or read analytics or advertising cookies; it may still receive limited, cookieless information such as the page requested and your IP address. If you choose Accept, Google may set cookies (for example names starting with _ga) and process usage information, which may take place outside Switzerland and the EU. Google Tag Manager is not loaded inside the signed-in application.

You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of our website. When you pay for an upgrade you are taken to Stripe, which sets its own cookies under its own policy.

Who we share it with

We share data only with the service providers that keep ClearPMO running: our hosting provider Vercel, our database provider Neon, our email provider Resend, our payment processor Stripe, and our AI provider Anthropic. Each only receives the data needed to perform its function. We do not sell or rent your data to anyone. Some of these providers process data outside Switzerland, including in the United States. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards recognised under Swiss and EU data protection law, such as standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, export, or delete your personal data at any time by contacting privacy@ang-associates.ch. You can also object to processing, or ask us to restrict it, where the law gives you that right. We answer requests within 30 days. If you are in Switzerland, your rights come from the Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP), and you can complain to the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC). If you are in the EU or UK, your rights come from the GDPR or UK GDPR, and you can complain to the data protection authority where you live or work.

Data retention

We keep your account and project data for as long as your account is active. If you ask us to delete a project or your account, we remove it without undue delay, except where we are required to keep records for legal or accounting reasons, such as billing records. Copies in routine backups are removed as those backups are replaced.

Changes to this policy

If we make a material change to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where required, let you know directly.
